Adult cleft patients with unsatisfactory nose shape are treated with Rhinoplasty. The nose is accessed through tiny incisions and the rib as well as the cartilage from the ear are harvested. They are then diced and wrapped up in Temporalis Fascia and used to recontour the nose. These surgeries require a hospitalization of 4 days and around 2 weeks of rest at home.
